President Trump Tweets: ‘We Cannot Let the Cure Be Worse Than the Problem Itself’ By Susan Jones for CNS News

President Donald Trump, tweeting late Sunday night in all-caps, addressed a concern of many Americans — how long will our enforced isolation last?

“WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!”

The Trump administration last week urged Americans to participate in a 15-day period to “slow the spread” of coronavirus by limiting contacts with other people and staying home as much as possible.

So I’d be surprised if they didn’t, and if they don’t, I think, frankly, the American people will be very upset with the Democrats, because the Republicans are ready to approve a deal. The only reason, if a deal couldn’t get done, is pure politics.”

In another tweet late Sunday, President Trump complained about media coverage of his response to the coronavirus pandemic.
